LDPE Film Washing Line

The LDPE film washing line is an efficient solution designed to process and recycle post-consumer and post-industrial plastic film waste. As a complete plastic film washing line, this system helps reduce plastic pollution and conserve natural resources by cleaning and recycling materials such as LDPE film, PE film, plastic bags, and woven sacks. The integrated plastic film recycling machine converts contaminated plastic waste into high-quality recycled plastic flakes that can be reused in various plastic manufacturing applications.
This advanced film recycling machine is built to deliver reliable performance and high output while maintaining excellent cleaning efficiency. It is widely used as a PE film recycling machine in plastic recycling plants and industrial facilities that handle large volumes of flexible plastic waste.
The LDPE film washing line typically operates through the following steps:

  • Shredding: Plastic film waste is fed into the film recycling machine where it is shredded into smaller pieces for easier processing.
  • Washing: In the plastic film washing line, the shredded material is washed and rinsed multiple times to remove dirt, sand, labels, and other contaminants.
  • Flotation: The system uses a sink-float separation tank to separate plastic from heavier materials such as metal, stones, or glass.
  • Drying: The cleaned flakes are dried using a horizontal dryer and thermal dryer to eliminate remaining moisture and prepare the material for further processing.
  • Bagging: The final dried plastic flakes are collected and bagged, ready to be reused or processed further through a plastic film recycling machine or pelletizing system.

Details of LDPE Film Washing Line

Features

  • Conveyor Belt: To achieve easy movement of material across the washing line.
  • Wet Crusher: Made specifically to crush film or thin materials down to uniform particle sizes as a pre-wash.
  • Friction Washer: It is used to achieve effective removal of dirt and sands by using centrifugal force from a high-speed rotary rotor.
  • Sink Float Tank: The separation is based on density; light materials like LDPE, HDPE, and PP swim on the surface, and heavy materials like PVC, PET, and PC sink at the bottom. Different discharge points pick the materials with different density splitting characteristics.
  • Horizontal Dryer: Where the moisture content in the final product is well controlled at less than 5% for pelletizing under good conditions.
  • Thermal Dryer: Works with the horizontal dryer to reduce moisture levels for proper processing.

Application

The LDPE Plastic Waste Washing Machine is primarily designed to recycle waste PP/PE film and woven bags. The machine will effectively wash and process film or thin materials contaminated with dirt and other additives. Therefore, it is very vital to make the recycled materials into materials that are applicable to making new films, bags, and other plastic products. System design features are particle size control, effective material separation based on density, and exact moisture regulation, which give quality improvements and improved usability of the contents in the recycled LDPE materials. These make plastic recycling sustainable since it is a perfect all-weather solution for the treatment and processing of waste and plastics in general.
